A Message from Our Superintendent

Dear Community,

Welcome back! The first day of school is Wednesday, September 9, 2020.

Each summer our maintenance and operations staff spend the time improving our facilities and grounds for Tenino students, even in these unusual times, this has continued.  I am proud of the their accomplishments and our District is looking  better than ever.  The District has also been busy on the inside with improvements like carpeting and paint. These facility changes serve to make our schools more secure and welcoming for students, families and the community.

In addition to our facility changes the District made program improvements at all schools many teachers attended professional development in a variety of areas.  District test scores have improved especially at the middle and high school.  Our new English and Language Arts program, the AVID program and our Career and Technical programs continue to achieve excellent results. The high school has added additional Advanced Placement, CTE, and foreign language classes for students.

Keep track of what is happening in the Tenino School District by following:

I am thankful to our entire community for the ongoing support of our schools and our students. We will see you virtually on September 9th.

Warm Regards,

Superintendent Signature
