The Tenino School District recently announced that Jennifer Van De Wege will be our next Principal of Tenino Elementary School after serving as the Assistant Principal of Tenino High School. With Mrs. Van De Wege’s departure from THS, the district is excited to share that TerriAnn Schiferl has been appointed to serve as our next Assistant Principal at THS.
Mrs. Schiferl has been a teacher at THS since 2019 and is completing her administrative internship this school year. The district is proud to grow leaders from within that have positive and established rapport with our students, staff, and community. Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Schiferl to her new position!
Mrs. Schiferl shared: "As an active member of the Tenino community for the past 15 years I am closely tied to our values and needs. I am thrilled to be able to move into this role where I can support all students, staff, and families, using my 25 years of experience in education, many in the world of finding options for students with special needs. My relationships that have developed here are the foundation for the work that will continue to make THS an outstanding environment for all stakeholders."
