TMS Supply List
Mrs. Suydam has worked in Tenino since 1995 where she began as a student helper. The following year, she spent some time as a part time school secretary and sub before moving into a full time school secretary position, where she has been ever since! Mrs. Suydam says that it has been an honor to be a part of so many students going through the school all these years. She’s going to miss watching the growth that happens in middle school, although sometimes difficult, it’s an amazing transformation. Her plans for retirement and the future include travel, family, friends, fun, and relaxation! We wish you all the best in this next phase of life!🫶🌿✈️

Our April School Board meeting was hosted by Tenino Middle School! Mr. H chose to recognize two volunteers that spend countless hours volunteering at TMS, whether it's running copies or prepping for a science lab, they always show up. A big thank you to Tiffany Dickman and Michele Humble! You both are appreciated more than you know! We had the pleasure of hearing from Mr. Harrington about the Digi-skills and Multimedia classes in addition to the amazing success of the Esports program! We also got to hear from Mrs. Rankel and a few of her students about their experience in the Student Green Congress last month, held at Evergreen State College. Thank you for hosting Mr. H and team!

Last week, fifteen of Mrs. Rankel’s 7th Grade Science Students showcased their insights on the Scatter Creek Watershed and the headwaters of the Chehalis River Basin, during the 32nd Annual Student GREEN Congress at Evergreen State College. Students monitored the water quality of Scatter Creek and the Mill Pond in both October and February. They presented their findings to experts in water quality and students from grades 3 to 8 across Western Washington. Additionally, they participated in workshops learning a variety of ways to be good stewards of nature and our environment.
