Because COVID-19 closed schools, children in grades k-12 may be eligible for food assistance, called
Pandemic EBT (P-EBT): Emergency School Meals Program. P-EBT provides families with funds to make up for the cost of meals while school was closed.

Choose Love!
Choose Love, a Tenino nonprofit orgainization has generously donated dozens of gift bags for students currently receiving meals during our school closure. There are bags for girls and boys and in a variety of age ranges. We are so honored and humbled by this thoughtful gift to our students! Another stillar example that shows the Tenino community supports our kids.

TES and TMS Receive Awards! As part of the Washington School Recognition Program, Tenino Elementary School and Tenino Middle School are being recognized for two categories by the state! 1. Closing achievement gaps: Schools with these awards serve all students equitably and improve outcomes for all students. 2. Student Growth: We close achievement gaps, while serving ALL students, and we demonstrate growth in supporting those students. TMS was one of 27 middle schools in the entire state awarded for closing achievement gaps for students. TES was one of 22 elementary schools in the entire state awarded for closing achievement gaps and showing significant academic growth. PAPER CATALOG- For those that cannot order online, there will be a paper catalog along with an order form at the Tenino High School Greenhouse. Please use the catalog to order plants. Place the order form in the container on the fence at the greenhouse. All orders will be collected by 3 every day. Complete instructions for ordering via the paper catalog is on the form.
We appreciate your support. Please be patient as we maneuver through this new process. We will do our very best to fill your order and have it ready. There might be items on your original order form that have already sold out. Please be sure to arrive at the greenhouse on the day and time you have stated on the form. By order of Governor Inslee, all Tenino School District schools will be closed for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year; however, distance learning will continue. While schools are closed, the Tenino School District has been working to ensure that a variety of services continue, including meal distribution and tech support for students. All Tenino School District outdoor facilities are closed.
More information will be forthcoming about high school credits, graduation, and additional options for distance learning for all students.
The District Office will also be closed to the public through May 5, 2020, or until further notice. While the district office is closed, we will continue to answer phones, pay bills and support schools in providing distance learning.

Tenino Food Bank has adjusted the days and times of service. Tenino: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Tuesday ONLY at Tenino Food Bank.
Bucoda: 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Thursday ONLY Community Center. All doorstep food deliveries will be done on Tuesday only.
