Dismissal Times are as follows:

Parkside Elementary: Dismiss at 11:30am
Tenino Elementary: Dismiss at 11:40am
Tenino Middle School: Dismiss at 11:45am
Tenino High School: Dismiss at 11:50am

Thank your drivers for helping keep our students safe!

Don't underestimate the harm these school absences can cause. Missing just two days a month of school―for any reason—can make life harder. Children who are chronically absent in kindergarten and first grade are less likely to read on grade level by the third grade. Regular school attendance also provides an engaging environment. This can help young people build relationships with peers and adults and gain a deeper sense of community and purpose.

Thank you voters/tax payers of the Tenino School District. The addition of this handrail this summer is already being used by our students entering our school. This little added safety feature is much appreciated.

Thank you again to the Tenino Lions and the Tenino Free Masons for their donations at the end of the 2024-25 school year. We very much appreciated it.

Get the family out this weekend and enjoy all the fun of Oregon Trail Days in Tenino! Parade starts about 11:00 a.m. There will be lots of fun before and after in the City Park.

You are graduating this year from Tenino High School and going off into the world to make it a better place for all of us. Please never forget where you came from. Continue to go out and make us all proud. The Parkside Staff loves you gals and guys and are so very proud to know that you got your start as a Parkside Penguin. "Once a Penguin, Always a Penguin!" ~Retiree Spotlight~ Colleen Taylor has been teaching for 36 years and 31 years have been at Parkside Elementary! Mrs. Taylor will miss working with the kids and making a difference in their lives. She will also miss her Parkside family but plans to fill her time with family, traveling, camping and more family time! Congratulations on your retirement! Thank you for so many years dedicated to our students and the Tenino community! Wishing you all the best in this next phase of life.
