As a friendly reminder, in observance of Veterans Day there will be no school on Monday, November 11th. Thank you to all who served!
Don't underestimate the harm these school absences can cause.
Missing just two days a month of school―for any reason—can make life harder. Children who are chronically absent in kindergarten and first grade are less likely to read on grade level by the third grade.
Regular school attendance also provides an engaging environment. This can help young people build relationships with peers and adults and gain a deeper sense of community and purpose.

Parkside's Food Drive begins Monday, November 4, 2024 and will run through Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Parkside's goal is 1000 Food Items. Items can not be homemade. They need to be store bought, canned or packaged non-perishable items. Thanks for supporting our community!
